This is an IQ test that I recently designed.  Some questions may contain a hyper-dimension, that is, an object with length, width, height and additional dimension.  No reference or resource tools may be used to figure answers, including books, calculators, or discussion of the questions with others and no guessing!

 Part B

Directions: Record your answers to the following story problems

1. If a rectangular cube with 12 centimeters of length, 4 centimeters of width and 2 centimeters of height is sliced in half, lengthwise, then what will the total surface area of both pieces combined be?

2. If there is a cube with a dot on 2 sides with 1 dot facing you and one dot to the right, then where will the dots be if the cube is rotated 1/2 turn forward and 1/4 turn to the right?

3. On the same cube, what is the probability of two balls simultaneously occupying the same side if they are bounced around in a random fashion, given that there is no gravitational influence?

4. If a there are two cars and one is labeled A and one is labeled B, then what will the velocity of car A be in relation to car B if Car A is moving at 125 Kilometers per hour and Car B is moving at 70 Kilometers per hour in the same direction?

5. If both of these cars are still moving at the same velocities as mentioned above, then what will be both of their relative velocities if Car B begins to accelerate at an increase 35.5 kilometers per hour every second while simultaneously, Car A begins to accelerate at an increase 8 kilometers per hour every second after 2 seconds pass during this acceleration?

6. Suppose that a new solar system has just emerged and for every 1000 tons of matter, there 3 revolutions every 4 hours, for every revolution per hour, there is a gravitational force that is equal to the gravitational force of our earth and for every 3000 tons of matter, there is a daytime temperature of 75 degrees and for every 5000 tons of matter, these planets will make a complete orbit around their sun in the same amount of time that our Earth does. Given that a specific planet in this new solar system makes a complete orbit around its sun every 15 Earth years, please specify the following:

Tons of matter______________

Daytime Temperature________________

Gravitational force in comparison to our Earth gravity__________________

Revolutions every hour___________________
